    Steve Zahn as Fuller Thomas.

    Comedic relief, very good acting.

    Leelee Sobieski as Venna Wilcox.

You may recognize her from Glass House, Here On Earth, Deep Impact, or Eyes Wide Shut. Extremely talented actress. Although she isn't in much of the movie, she does fit as Venna.

    Paul Walker as Lewis Thomas.

From Varsity Blues to Fast and The Furious. Paul plays a wide range of characters; in Joy Ride he is the younger, yet wiser brother.

Two brothers decide to play a joke on a lonely truck driver over the CB radio. Lewis pretends to be a woman, and lures RustyNail to a motel. The fun doesn't stop there.

If you're a horror fan, you will recognize the voice of "RustyNail". See if you can.

One of the best character's in the movie, is the voice of RustyNail, gives that creepy feeling, the type that can send chills down your spine.

The DVD comes with FOUR endings. At least one of them should satisfy you.

No visible CGI. If there were any digital effects used, they aren't noticeble, which makes for a very realistic movie.

Fuller to Lewis when Lewis tells him not to park in a handicap spot: "Dude, I'm gonna gimp it. I'm not just gonna run in there."
