    Gina Philips as Trisha Jenner.

Very good casting, getting a relative unknown for this role.

    Justin Long as Darry Jenner.

Some people may remember him as the nerdy kid in "Galaxy Quest", he is MUCH better in this role. Great casting for this role as well as Trisha. These two make a very convincing brother sister combo.

    Jonathan Breck as The Creeper.

A complete unknown, better that way so you don't recognize the actor under the makeup. Reminds me of Kane Hodder playing "Jason", Breck has the "Creepers" movements believable.

On their way home from college, brother and sister witness a possible murder. When they go back to investigate, they find themselves running for their lives from something more evil than they could ever imagine.

Darry and Jenna are very strong willed and smart, not your typical horror characters. The storyline uses a cross between "Children Of The Corn" and "Creature From The Black Lagoon", and actually comes out with a pretty good mixture.

The Creeper is just positively amazing. The producers didn't try to fully explain its purpose and destroy the mystery (the way Halloween did). The Creeper isn't fully visible to us at the very beginning, but very slowly revealed, boosting the thrill factor.

Well, you either love it or you hate it. No middle road on this. Tha'ts all I'm going to say, just watch it (or see the pics in the movies section)

Only one scene of CGI (but not noticable, see if you can catch it). The best visual effects are the ones that integrate seamlessly into the film; make-up effects are top notch.

Jenna to Darry: "You know the part in scary movies, where somebody does something really stupid and everybody hates them for it? This is it."
